# Privacy policy

**Draft for review.** This policy covers the CareTribe website and waitlist as they exist today. It has not yet been reviewed by a solicitor and should be before launch. It does not describe the CareTribe app, which is not yet available.

## Who we are

CareTribe AI operates this website at caretribe.ai. For data protection purposes we are the data controller for the personal data described below. You can reach us at[hello@caretribe.ai](mailto:hello@caretribe.ai).

## What we collect

We collect very little, and only for the waitlist.

-   **Your email address**, when you choose to give it to us by joining the waitlist.
-   **Basic context about that signup**: which page on this site you submitted the form from, the referring URL if your browser sent one, your browser's user-agent string, and the date and time.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics on this website. We do not ask for your name, phone number, address, or anything about your circumstances.

## Why we collect it, and our lawful basis

We use your email address for one purpose: to tell you when CareTribe becomes available, and to send occasional updates about that launch. Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is your consent, given when you submit the form. We rely on legitimate interests for the small amount of technical context recorded alongside it, which we use to understand which pages people sign up from and to protect the form from automated abuse.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

## Who can see it

Your data is stored in a database operated on our behalf by our hosting provider, Railway, which acts as a data processor. Access is limited to the people who run CareTribe. If we later start using an email delivery provider to send the launch announcement, we will name it here before doing so.

## Where it is stored

Data is stored on infrastructure that may be located outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards offered by our provider, including the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where applicable.

## How long we keep it

We keep waitlist entries until CareTribe launches and we have contacted you, or until you ask us to delete your entry — whichever comes first. If the product does not launch, we will delete the waitlist.

## Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

-   ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy
-   have inaccurate data corrected
-   have your data deleted
-   withdraw your consent at any time, which removes you from the waitlist
-   object to or restrict how we process your data
-   ask us to transfer your data to you or someone else

To exercise any of these, email [hello@caretribe.ai](mailto:hello@caretribe.ai). We will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at[ico.org.uk](https://ico.org.uk).

## Cookies

This website sets no cookies of its own and runs no third-party trackers, which is why you are not seeing a cookie banner. If that changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent first.

## Children

This website and the waitlist are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

## Changes to this policy

If we make a material change we will update the date at the top of this page, and — where the change affects how we use data you have already given us — email you about it.
