How it works

# Three steps, and it’s off your plate.

CareTribe replaces the part of getting help that nobody has the energy for: the asking, the chasing and the rearranging. Here is exactly what happens, end to end.

## The three steps

1. Step 1

    ### Tell your agent what’s going on

No forms, no set-up. Just say what you need, in your own words — an agent listens and gets to work.

2. Step 2

    ### It reaches out for you

Your agent asks your tribe directly, one task at a time — and only ever shares the practical need, never the story behind it.

3. Step 3

    ### You get your week back

Watch tasks move from pending to confirmed, in one calm view of what’s covered and what still needs a hand.

## In detail

_Product screenshot: The CareTribe chat screen. The user asks the agent to sort out school pickups for next week; the agent confirms the school and time, then creates a pending task reading “School pickup, Mon–Thu, 3:30pm, Oakfield Primary”._

### You describe the need, not the task list

There is no project to set up and no form to fill in. You write the way you would text a friend — “can you sort out school pickups next week?” — and the agent works out what it needs to know.

It asks you the few questions that actually matter (which school, what time, which days) and confirms them back to you before it does anything. Nothing goes out to another human until you have said yes.

### It asks people one at a time, by name

A group message spreads responsibility so thin that everyone assumes someone else will answer. CareTribe does the opposite: it approaches one named person with one specific ask, at a time that suits what you already know about them.

If someone cannot help, the agent thanks them and quietly moves to the next person. You are not told about every no — only about the yes.

Each request contains the practical task and nothing more. Your diagnosis, your circumstances, your reasons: none of that travels with the ask.

### You get one calm view, and the chasing stops being yours

Everything lands in one week view: confirmed, pending, or still needing a helper. No mental tally, no scrolling back through a group chat to work out whether Thursday was ever sorted.

When a plan falls through — and it will — you tell the agent once and it starts the process again from the top.

A worked example

## One cancelled babysitter, start to finish.

1. 7:40am

The babysitter cancels for the week. You open CareTribe and type one sentence about what you need.

2. 7:41am

The agent confirms the details back to you — school, time, which days — and you say yes. That is the last thing you have to do.

3. 8:15am

It has messaged three people nearby, each with one specific ask. None of them are told why you need the help.

4. 11:20am

One person can’t. The agent thanks them and asks a fourth. You are not interrupted for any of it.

5. 12:50pm

A neighbour confirms the whole week. You get one notification: it’s handled.

Common questions

## Questions people ask at this point.

**What does the CareTribe agent actually do?**
It turns a need you describe in plain language into specific, time-boxed asks, sends those asks to individual people in your circle, follows up on anyone who has not replied, re-asks someone else when a person cannot help, and keeps a single up-to-date view of what is covered.

**What do the people helping me actually see?**
They see the practical task and nothing else: what is needed, when, where, and roughly how long it will take. They are never told the reason behind the request unless you choose to tell them yourself.

**Do the people helping me need to install the app?**
No. Helpers are contacted where they already are and can accept or decline without creating an account or downloading anything.
